Tarja goes contemporary pop rock…

…and does it beautifully.

I didn’t like her first couple of solo records much (or those couple final records she did with NW), but starting with Colours in the Dark, she seems to have found her niche… which is actually a damn in-your-face experimental sorta one.

Remember, the leading single from CitD was very different. And this is what counts.
