fashion

I’m always on the fence with that whole thing. I love it, and I hate it.

Looking at latest haute couture collections is always fun: some things there are whacky, some are awesome, but hey, that’s a form of art, no doubt.
Street fashion – where everyone looks the same – is disheartening.

I mourn the fact that it’s 2015 (2015! Flying cars! Vacations on the Moon!) but nobody really looks “futuristic” in their daily lives; just same old same old.
At the same time, I get angry that the mainstream crowd keeps stealing elements of the punk/goth look. Apparently hip-hop/rap kids these days think that studded wristbands are “their” thing now; elderly ladies sport asymmetrical haircuts (and no, these aren’t elderly punk ladies); what next?
