Today Russia celebrates the 70th anniversary of the Victory against Nazism

I don’t know what y’all think of the current political situation, but when it comes to the legacy of the World War II, it should be irrelevant.

Now… The USSR was not a perfect state; J.V.Stalin was a controversial figure. But those in certain European countries of today who believe they’d have been better off under Hitler… let’s just say they are either unfoundedly idealistic or haven’t done enough research on what the Nazis had planned for the “untermensch” (that is, everyone not of the “pure” blood – and that’s not just Jews or Gypsies: no member of any Slavic nation could qualify for “purity” either).
